Management Team

Brian Terrell – CEO
Brian’s experience spans 15 years of technical and management leadership in security, networking, storage and back up. Brian founded GPL Technologies in 2003 to help Media and Entertainment studios design and implement data infrastructures that speed the production of films, visual effects, video games and more. Prior to founding GPL, Brian managed the architecture and deployment of network and security systems for various government agencies both at the local, state and international level including the UN, located in Vienna Austria, the Department of Highway, Department of Tax and Revenue, and Los Alamos National Laboratories.  Over the course of his career, Brian has built a reputation for successfully managing operations and providing strategic direction for companies with data infrastructure needs. Under Brian’s management GPL’s revenues have doubled year over year.

Jason Blum – CTO
With over 20 years invested in the computing and entertainment industries, Jason Blum brings a unique perspective to GPL as both a creative professional and technology executive.  In prior years, he held network engineering and site operations positions at a number of Internet and technology-related firms, including Intel Corporation and Youbet.com, and later served as CTO of managed services provider Miracle Data Corporation.  Jason is also an accomplished music producer and mastering engineer who has provided product consultation services for a wide array of audio hardware and software manufacturers, affording him a unique opportunity to converge his technical and creative skills and develop a solid foundation for his current work with audio and video workflows on digital systems.

Antony Harris – Vice President, Sales
Antony has a wealth of experience in technology, spanning deep roles in R&D, customer service, marketing, sales, international channel development, strategic business development, and overall business management including over 11 years as CEO. Antony’s technical creativity led to several successful products and the filing for two software patents; while his business leadership resulted in a Nevada Governor’s Award for Industry in 2007. Antony’s customers have included Technicolor, Pixar, CNN, Turner, Saatchi & Saatchi and many more around the world. Antony studied Physics at Oxford Brookes University and is pursuing a business degree from Excelsior College, NY.

Alan Davis – Director, Sales
With extensive experience in the sale of high technology products and systems into broadcast and post production markets, Alan Davis brings a wide-ranging network of client and vendor relations to the GPL team.  Alan previously served in senior sales and marketing management positions at Asaca Shibasoku, Rohde & Schwarz, and Digital Vision, and went on to establish his own highly successful independent rep company, Digital Synergy. Having completed recent consulting assignments at Cinnafilm and Radiant Grid, Alan is now bringing his highly-regarded reputation in the Los Angeles content creation community to GPL Technologies, further establishing GPL as the leading technology design group by providing sophisticated workflow systems and extraordinary service and support to this renowned marketplace.
